We are proud to call Lakeland our home, and we appreciate how the community welcomed us when we relocated from Miami 11 years ago. We believe it is important to contribute to the community that has provided us and our children with many benefits and opportunities. Lakeland is a fantastic place to live and work. The Manks appreciate being part of this community, and they enjoy contributing to its positive aspects by volunteering their time and resources. Kathleen has been a member of the Junior League of Greater Lakeland, a service organization, for ten years, and has spent several years on the Lincoln Avenue Academy PTO Board of Directors/Leadership Council. Chris has spent countless hours coaching children throughout the community in various sports, and he enjoys volunteering his time to help these children grow into confident and goal-oriented individuals. Kathleen and Chris have served as members of the Vestry of All Saints’ Episcopal Church, and they are the only married couple in the history of All Saints’ to serve as Junior Wardens to the Vestry. They teach Sunday School together each week, and they believe they are benefitting from that experience as much or more so than their students.
