Do I have to give a recorded statement to the insurance company in a Florida auto accident case?

Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

You usually do have to give a recorded statement to your insurance company, it’s a requirement of your policy. What they’re going to be looking for are the facts for the accident, the damage to the vehicles as well as the injuries you’ve suffered and who you’ve treated with. You’re entitled to have an attorney present with you during that statement. You do not have to give a statement to the other driver’s insurance company.

By submitting this form I acknowledge that form submissions via this website do not create an attorney-client relationship, and any information I send is not protected by attorney-client privilege.
